Peaks2Plains Weather is excited to head into the next phase of covering our part of Colorado with Our View: Live Weather Cameras. Look, we’re good at analyzing and explaining radar, wind patterns, upper-level divergence and the like – but we know a picture is worth a thousand words!
Our Weather. Together.
Our plan is to build out a network of full pan, tilt, zoom weather cameras from the Peaks2Plains to help cover as many neighborhoods, towns, and streets as possible. This isn’t a revenue generator for us…we’ve worked to make this as inexpensive as possible to implement and we want to partner with you – at your home, business, school, local non-profit or even an entire small community!
Installation is extremely easy, too and we’ve got a few different options depending on your specific location and building set up. Our ideal set up is one of Our View cameras that are PoE (power over ethernet). This way it’s only one cable – there are no power cables or cords to run. Simply get PoE ethernet cable from the control module to your switch or router, plug it in, and you’ll be on your way. We also have options for a wifi required install and even a solar-powered option if need be.
Our View Weather Cameras are yet another way we’ll cover small communities and individual neighborhoods. Peaks2Plains Weather will continue to look for innovative ways to bring you Our Weather. Together.
