24 FIRE: Just did 20 minutes of live coverage to talk about the visible flare up and to share straight from the fire line what’s happening. There are two areas of flare up, one on the north end, one on the east. There is no concern about these jumping any containment lines, so if the smoke concerns you, please rest easy my friends.

It’s hot, we’re in the mid 80s at the fire and the wind is a little erratic, but mainly under 12 mph so not bad. It may increase a little bit for the balance of the afternoon. Again, straight from the fire line, at this point – Wednesday afternoon at 2:30pm – the smoke is from two flareups burning within the perimeter of the fire.
