As of 9am Thursday Morning, March 26, the 24Fire is 61% contained, with containment on the west, south, and southeast sides…great news for the wind shift later today with the arrival of the cold front. Wind will be gusty form the northeast, wanting to push the fire to the southwest, but with those edges shored up, the crews aren’t overly worried about the front’s arrival. Plus, behind it we get cooler temps, higher humidity, and hopefully some moisture!
Great work by all of the amazing men and women responding to and supporting the suppression efforts of these fires. We are all grateful!
