CLASSIC PATTERN EARLY IN THE WEEK
Low-level moisture moving up the slope toward the Rocky Mountains and northwest flow aloft riding a ridge to our south is a pattern that screams large-hail producing thunderstorms over the high-plains early in the week.
Here’s something to watch when you’re checking storms out on the Peaks2Plains Weather app. Any storm that starts moving more south than southeast may also bring a threat of a tornado. Storms look to stay east of the cities in southern Colorado Monday and Tuesday, but it’s a close call and Merry and I will watch it.
