Here We Go: Again…More Severe Storms Wednesday

HERE WE GO, AGAIN
Well crew, the moisture isn’t mixing out and we’ve got a wave coming in from the west….so we’re looking at severe storms again.

We’re already seeing come clouds build over the mountains southwest of Pueblo but it’s going to take another hour or two to sort of get going given the persistent clouds we’ve seen east of the mountains through the morning.

I’m eyeing between 3 and 7pm over the eastern mountains and the cities along the Interstate and then 5-9pm over the plains for our most likely window for severe storms this afternoon/evening. Again, large hail, this time 1-2″ in diameter is possible with the strongest storms, wind gusts to 70mph, and perhaps an isolated tornado, although that looks more likely farther north.
Localized flash flooding is possible too since a number of areas received between 1-3″ of rain last night.
