RECORD HEAT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS
A cold front is set to come into the area Monday night and break the heat with an increasing chance of storms. Ahead of it we get a couple of hot days…and heat advisories. Colorado Springs and Alamosa likely take records out to wrap up the weekend, while Pueblo has a better chance on Monday….which will be the hottest day of the stretch.

HEAT RELIEF WITH COLD FRONT, STORMS RETURN FOR SOME
A cold front from the north late Monday or Monday evening could kick off a few storms over the Palmer Divide and eastern plains. You’ll notice the north wind as the front comes in. It’ll bring a significant temperature drop for Tuesday, and, depending on how fast low-level moisture moves back toward the hills a couple of days where that pattern says severe weather is possible.
