I’m forecasting us to tie records on Saturday and Sunday in both cities. I had a professor back in college who said, “Records are records for a reason. You should be CERTAIN you’re going to break them if you’re going to forecast that to happen.” So, in honor of Tony Rockwood, we’ll stick with a tie forecast.
That said…impacts are our there regardless, especially if you’re susceptible to the heat. Take necessary precautions…water, breaks, shade, stay inside. All the summer stuff! Heat Advisories are up in the cities and along the Arkansas River east of the Rockies both Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
