Colorado Snow Pack: Improvement, But Still Historically Low

Colorado snow pack has been below the previous minimum in the SNOTEL data set since January 13.
SO CLOSE! We’ve seen snow pack increase this week over the mountains, between 10-15% increase compared to median over the southern basins where we were most behind. As of Thursday morning, we’re still the zero percentile in the SNOTEL data sets (late 1970s), but we are really close! Not sure we’ll make it to the previous minimum since it has a jump coming in the next couple of days….but I’m trying to be positive here and celebrate that we’re closer than we’ve been in the last three weeks.
