Meet Dave. On the evening of February 2, at my daughter’s 18th birthday celebration dinner, Dave turned around a couple times at the table next to us. The second time he held up his phone with the Peaks2Plains Weather App up, like you see in the picture we took.
I said, “hey!” in my typically excited voice. He proceeded to tell me how as a law enforcement officer in the Denver area for 20 years he has relied on my forecast from my time at both tv stations. He showed me some other weather apps on his phone, but says that he always relied on mine because they always had him prepared for the wild weather of driving over Monument Hill and expressed deep gratitude for helping him be ready for the sometimes rapid changes.
He, and his wife Michelle, who know it was Whitney’s birthday because she had watched Mornings with Meister that morning, both said how much they are enjoying the P2P app and are glad I’m doing it.
