DRIER STRETCH AHEAD
We’re heading into a drier stretch ahead of another active monsoon stretch for the middle of the month. Even with a cold front Monday night and a better chance of a couple of storms for Tuesday and Wednesday…we’re looking at a drier stretch this week. Temps cool for the middle of the week with the front, but it’s dry and hot next weekend until the monsoon can re-establish.
MONSOON RETURNS
And it looks like we really do that for the middle of the month. The seasonal high looks to end up in the near ideal spot, and when it gets there and parks for a few days, we’ll be in business. Next weekend the moisture starts up over the Great Basin and with time toward the 14th-16th, we’re moving the increasing moisture plume eastward over Colorado around the high that will be centered off to our southeast.
We’re going to dry out here until that happens. Fire danger is going to creep back up…but hang tight…
