Next Storm for November

FIRE UP THE HYPE MACHINE!

You aren’t going to get that here, crew. I’m sorry. I respect the science too much.

Here’s what we do know about our next weather maker. It looks like we get another pretty strong wave diving into the western US as October ends and November begins.

Southwest flow will develop and get stronger ahead of it, and that will increase moisture over the west ahead of the storm. As we’ve seen in the last couple of weeks…this pattern is very favorable for the southern mountains of Colorado. I’m confident in letting you know that we’re going to get more rain, and likely snow, in this area ahead of the storm…and it could be heavy again.

What we don’t know. How the storm will evolve as it interacts with all the mountains in the west…and where the heart of it will be as it gets east of the Rockies. Will it be strengthening or weakening as it does? NO ONE KNOWS YET. Those details are very important for the central and northern mountains of Colorado, mountains east of the Continental Divide, the major cities that sit just east of the Rockies, and the eastern plains.

Don’t fall for the trashy click-bait, doomsday posts. Sorry, I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

I would appreciate if you shared this though as the Peaks2Plains Weather Team works hard to be accurate, and reliable. Good scientists tell you what they do, and DON’T know…especially when predicting the future.
