PATTERN CHANGE AHEAD
Multiple waves move through Colorado next week. The main players are Sunday and late next week. The wave let next week (Thursday or Friday) shows signs of being in a favorable spot to use moisture from the Gulf to be quite beneficial for much needed moisture in our state.
It’s a week out…and there are timing differences in these two models I’m showing you. But notice where these two models are putting heavier precip. – there are similarities that show they are latching onto the same ideas about moisture transport into the system, where the upper level and surface features are located to move water.
It’s enough agreement and a significant enough signal that I’m letting you know about now. Might be wet (or white for some!) around here late next week.
