As temps come back up east of the mountains tomorrow…the wind will blow a bit up over the continental divide as the warmer airmass moves in. We’ll get some gusts between 20 and 30mph and the humidity will be below 10-percent in some cases.
That’s high fire danger criteria, so the weather service has rightfully gone with a Red Flag Warning through the back half of the day. Areas east of the mountains get hot again, but wind should be lighter than up over the mountains and it’ll take until after 2pm to get the humidity down below 15-percent. Don’t get me wrong….it’s dry. Please be smart out there.
